Youth Opportunities Network, Inc. (YON Inc.), a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, has been in existence for over 25 years. YON Inc provides leadership, support and community services to youths of North San Diego County, and other areas of the United States through its affiliate programs. Our primary focus is on today's youth and providing an environment that stimulates self-worth and positive energy. We strive to move youths away from engaging in gang activity and other destructive behaviors, moving them toward programs and opportunities that create positive change in their lives.

Through years of networking and building a small army of volunteers, YON Inc. is privileged to have the highest caliber professionals that include law enforcement professionals, educators, social service personnel, clergy, parents and sports celebrities. Each are dedicated and have a passion for helping youths.

YON Inc. has been the glue for a variety of like-minded organizations by providing fiscal and non-profit status support as the lead or parent organization.

Vision:
YON Inc. is a youth services oriented organization directed by an experienced Board of Directors and CEO. YON's immediate objectives are to concentrate on expanding and developing a powerful network of local and national resources, agencies and organizations that are dedicated to youth issues - particularly in areas of gang prevention, intervention and diversion.

Achievements:
YON Inc is proactive in the development of its relationships with influential organizations and the development of programs within each group. Groups include;

  • Oceanside Police Department Neighborhood Policing Team
  • City of Oceanside Neighborhood Services
  • City of Oceanside Community Partnership
  • Juvenile Court
  • Community Schools
  • Faith-Based Ministries / Church Groups
  • Volunteer Based Programs such as;
  •     The Oceanside Samoan Cultural Committee (OSCC)
        Cupstack Sports / Activities for Youths
        Save Our Streets (SOS)
        Youth Family Outreach and various mentoring programs
        Other programs assisting today's youth and the leaders of tomorrow
